When it comes time for online music promotion and marketing, it isn’t a lack of choices that is the problem. The problem, easy to settle, is to just commit to three or so marketing websites at a time and stay commited until you get a result. I want you to go on Spotify and get your music registered for your page. You just need to make sure you distributed your single, album, or EP first at: tunecore.com, CDbaby.com, or any other distributor you are comfortable with.

I am particularly excited about: Songtradr.com right now. You can register all your work and build a profile to get submitted and connected with film licensing and synchronization companies, among many other types of media. Silverscreenmusician.com is another site you should work with. Don’t just limit yourself to streaming and selling tracks to fans and playing out. Get your music into these film catalogs and get signed with a film music licensing company.
I am releasing an album in early 2018, dependent on the distribution date of my corresponding musical film. Now, I have to wait longer for this release for a good reason. You can understand why I’m excited about the above programs. I also have an EP and digitally remastered CD of my earlier works to release and more upcoming films. Before I go, check out Landr.com to get your music mastered online while you wait, for a small fee. They are offering one free song distribution into Spotify, and can also place others for you. Just remember that most music distribution companies, like the ones mentioned above, will ingest you into “everything,” from Apple Music, Itunes, Spotify, and hundreds of others. You can also get music licensing and publishing royalties from all over the world when you take advantage of their “Pro” programs in conjunction with YouTube.
More to come. Happy Marketing! Also, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy New Year, and/or Happy “Anything” that you can believe in and celebrate; especially your talent! Until next time!
Looking out for you.
