Donna Cristy is a Recording Artist and Performer who deserves regular “standing ovations,” regardless of whether or not you get to attend ALL of her numerously amazing shows throughout Los Angeles (although you should go to ALL of them)! At the very least, Ms. Cristy deserves these “ovations” at regular intervals throughout music press and various media outlets, especially if you are a Music Producer, Music Writer, or Record Label looking for a FINISHED and POLISHED, working Act who is “ready to go” and “professional-to-the-tee.” Here’s why; for starters, she has one of the most POWERFUL set of live vocals I have had the privilege of hearing at a show of her’s at a hugely well-packed club (not so far back in history when she played the valley for a wildly dancing crowd where no one was caught “sitting”). She is a natural singer who can perform anything on-the-spot. Her vocal integrity and “range” reminds me of a cross between Whitney Houston and Shakira with a passionately soulful and RICH blend of edgy rock & roll, along with the type of pure energy that will leave you “spell-bound.” What’s most admirable and intriguing about Donna Cristy is that, behind the blinding white lights of the stage, she transforms herself from a hard-working and educated original Songwriter (the off-stage person I’d first originally met, who has been recognized with quite prestigious mentionings/awards for her soulfully original rock songs and television shows too numerous to mention), into that of a strikingly high-caliber “Star” on-stage, with amazing looks, presence, and visual style that would leave prospective Labels and Production Companies with very “little” (if anything) to alter.
